Yankees Win Game 1 in Houston. The Bronx Just Keeps Rolling.

The Boston sweep wasn’t a fluke. This Yankees team is for real.

Fresh off three dominant wins at Fenway — outscoring the Red Sox 12-3 across the series — the New York Yankees rolled into Houston and took Game 1 from the Astros. Different city, different opponent, same result. The Bronx just keeps winning.

What makes this stretch impressive is the level of competition. Fenway Park is the hardest road stadium in the AL East. Minute Maid Park in Houston is one of the toughest environments in all of baseball. The Yankees have now gone into both and won. That’s not luck. That’s a baseball team playing with serious confidence.

The pitching has been the foundation of this run. When the Yankees throw strikes, stay out of big innings, and let the offense work in small samples — they are very hard to beat. That has been the pattern over the last four games and tonight was no different.

The Bronx is 18-9 on the season. They lead the AL East. And they are playing the best baseball in New York right now.
