Colorado wasn’t supposed to win tonight. They did anyway.
The Mets dropped a frustrating one at Citi Field, losing to a Rockies team that came in with one of the worst records in the National League. Those are the losses that sting the most — not when you get beaten by a better team, but when a team you should handle finds a way to take one from you at home.

Credit Colorado — they came in with a plan and executed it. But the Mets have to look at what they could have done differently tonight and not let it become a pattern.
The good news is this is April and it is one game. The Mets have the talent to compete in the NL East all season and one home loss to a struggling Rockies club does not change that. What matters now is the response — come out tomorrow, same ballpark, different result.
Back at it tomorrow night. Queens bounces back. 🔒
